The sun is bright.
A boy named Seth sits.
He sits in the yard.
The yard is near the house.
Yesterday is over, today stays calm.
The garden shows green rows.
Seth keeps very still.
Warm air moves around him.
A soft petal lands on his nose.
He stays very still.
An ant walks across his hand.
It tickles the skin.
A cool drop falls on his cheek.
Seth blinks but does not move.
Wind bumps a spade by the wall.
The spade taps Seth’s shoulder.
He leans a little, steadying it.
The spade stays quiet beside him.
