Tom draws a small card.
He stands near the table.
Bright light fills the room.
The card is for his mother.
He picks bright red paint.
Suddenly the ceiling bulb flickers.
The light turns off quickly.
Darkness covers his small card.
Tom blinks and steps back.
A knock sounds at the door.
His friend Mia enters slowly.
She carries a glass jar.
Tiny fireflies move inside it.
Soft gold light fills space.
Tom lifts the bright card.
His lips curl, looking happy.
He paints the last star.
Mother walks in, eyes wide.
The glowing jar surprises her.
The room stays bright and calm.
