Bright morning light shines overhead.
Soft clouds move above roofs.
A tall clock stands ahead today.
She checks her wrist watch.
The hands point near nine.
A bus stops before her view.
Tall doors open and people step out.
Movement blocks the clock sound.
Mila shifts left toward the curb.
A young cat darts beside her.
The cat climbs a small post.
Leaves swirl around the post.
Its jump startles waiting people.
The crowd turns toward the cat.
Space opens near the clock.
Mila steps forward and listens.
Nine clear chimes ring above.
Mila is rested under soft light.
