Dark clouds gather without warning.
A sharp gust lifts loose sand.
Ben blinks as cold drops fall.
Wind grows and signals a storm.
Ben holds the bottle tight.
Rain starts and splashes his hands.
Lily runs, opens a bright umbrella.
She stands close and looks happy.
Ben opens the bottle slowly.
The paper slides into Lily’s palm.
It shows only plain white.
Both friends breathe and laugh softly.
The empty bottle is stopped.
