The kitchen air is warm.
Lucy chops soft fruit pieces.
Bright yellow mango skin shines.
Juice runs on the board.
Ben holds a small bowl.
A round toy planet rests nearby.
The idea of space decorates it.
The chopping board slides slightly.
Suddenly the toy planet rolls.
The bowl tips and wobbles.
Fruit pieces slide toward floor.
Ben jumps and saves them.
Lucy moves a wide tray.
She pushes it under fruit.
She starts to chop again.
They place fruit on it.
Small seeds stick to the tray.
They save every bright slice.
They now share the salad.
The tray stays still.
