Morning light filled the wide open park lawn.

Milo held his small camera and hoped for color.

He searched the grass for a proud peacock.

The bird strode near a low pond and paused.

Milo crouched, shaped the frame, and tightened the tripod.

The beauty of the tail almost covered the water.

A silent swan glided behind him without warning.

The swan stretched its wings and brushed Milo's leg.

Milo jerked sideways; the tripod rocked then tipped forward.

The camera clicked, and the lens cap flew into water.

Small ripples moved outward, shaking floating leaves around.

Milo grabbed a fallen branch from a variety of twigs.

He slid the branch under the cap and lifted slowly.

A silver coin stuck against the wet plastic edge.

The coin flashed, and the peacock cried from the bank.

Milo pocketed the coin; water dripped back into the pond.

He tightened the tripod again and raised the camera.

The peacock turned, opened its tail, and bright sunlight struck feathers.

Milo pressed the button once more.

A new photo filled the screen.

He walked toward the stone path.

Leaves settled on the still pond surface.

米洛再次按下按鈕。

新的照片填滿螢幕。

他走向石徑。

落葉沉在靜止的池面上。
