He opens the closet door.
A mix of boxes blocks entry.
The boxes hold books and toys.

The door shakes and stops.
Milo pulls, boxes tumble out.
A hidden kitten jumps forward.
Milo steps back, air stays quiet.
The kitten crawls over a string.
The string holds the red kite.
Milo lifts the red kite gently.
The kite tail shakes softly.
The kitten curls near his shoe.
