Morning light filled the quiet stable.
A young foal lifted its head from hay.
Warm straw stuck to its dark coat.
Outside, a narrow pathway crossed the farm yard.
Fresh grass shimmered beside the wooden fence.
The foal stepped forward, nose pushing the loose gate.
Metal hinges groaned, yet a heavy bucket blocked movement.
Hooves tapped the bucket, and water splashed over stone.
The splash echoed, reaching a hidden rabbit under boards.
The rabbit bolted across straw, scattering small tools wider.
A rolling hammer bumped the artist near the barn.
Paint tins trembled on his low wooden stool.
One green tin tipped, knocking a smaller golden pot.
Bright liquid ran across the dusty yard stones.
The flow reached the bucket beside the loose gate.
Paint mixed with water, and the bucket slid aside.
An open space appeared between fence posts.
The foal walked through and touched fresh grass.
